Kohima, November 12 (MExN): A total of 28 budding musicians were honoured for completing the basic music course in Drum, Guitar and Keyboard imparted by the Youth Department of Nepali Baptist Church Kohima as part of its Music Ministry.
In this connection, a music graduation programme was organized today by the Youth Department, wherein 20 students for Drums, five in Keyboard and three in Guitar were felicitated with course certificates by the Church Pastor, Surjay B. Sapkota in presence of the music teachers Samuel Thabah – Drum, Robin Thapa – Keyboard and Ashish Gurung – Guitar.
Proprietor and teachers of Musician Studio Kohima also witnessed the performances by the students besides making a special presentation.
NBCK vice chairman Radhika Chetri and member Neha Gurung compered the program, which commenced with invocation prayer by Chairman Board of Deacons Rana Chetri and concluded with benediction by Youth Director Robi Thapa.
