Chümoukedima, February 19 (MExN): Diphupar Cricket Club and Deccan Strikers have won their respective matchs to advance into the pre-quarter finals of the ongoing second edition of Champions Trophy T-20 Cricket organised by Nagamese Baptist Fellowship Chümoukedima.
In the first match today, Diphupar CC defeated Royals XI CC by 5 wickets.
Electing to bat first, Royals XI set a target of 92 runs which Diphupar CC achieved in 15.4 over. Pawan was awarded the man of the match for scoring 25 runs and taking 2 wickets. Deccan Strikers knocked Young Star by 5 wickets in the second match of the day. Young Star had set a target of 142 runs with Deccan Strikers chasing it in 16 over.
Santosh of Deccan Strikers was awarded the man of the match for taking 5 wickets.
