Chümoukedima, February 15 (MExN): Youngstar Cricket Club, Silver Machete CC and Hurricane won their respective matches played today as part of the 2nd edition of the 2nd Champions T-20 Cricket tournament organized by Nagamese Baptist Fellow Chümoukedima at Chümoukedima ground.
Playing the first match played Youngstar CC defeated United XI CC by 5 wickets. Winning the toss Youngstar elected to ball and restricted United XI CC at 124. They managed to chase the target in 13 overs. Mukdul of Youngstar was awarded man of the match for scoring 33 run and taking 2 wickets.
In the second match, Silver Machete CC won against Panther CC by 86 runs. Panther CC won the toss and elected to ball while giving away 209 runs to the opponents. However, chasing the target, Panther CC were bundled at 124 runs. Shanben, captain of Silver Machete was awarded the man of the match for scoring 71 runs and taking 2 wickets.
Hurricane CC knocked Bashers by 7 wickets in the third match of the day. Taking the bat first, Bashers set the target of 158 runs which Hurricane achieved in 13.4 overs losing 3 wickets.
