Nagaland Designers’ Association will be organizing its 2nd edition of Nagaland Fashion Week (NFW) in the month of October 2018.
This year, NFW is centered to revive the rich cultural traditions with an aim to market the Naga ethnic clothing brand globally with focus on quality, innovation, and marketability, stated a press release from Opang Jamir.
Based on ethnic fusion Fall/Winter collection, this edition is diagrammed to give stage to the many talented designers who will unfold the hidden ethnic cache of their creative collections, it added.
NFW 2018 will not only debut the upcoming and prominent designers, but also feature unskilled fashion enthusiasts with a view to support and showcase their fashion concept, besides encouraging young fashionistas to adopt fashion as a career.
One of the best aspects of this exciting event is that it will take place in two different cities – Dimapur and Kohima, giving opportunities to both the participants and audiences to witness one of the biggest fashion shows in Nagaland. Registration for aspiring designers will be followed up soon, the release added.
