Kohima, October 24 (MExN): Under the aegis of the Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA), the 2nd Open Chakhesang Naga Wrestling Championship 2022 & Under 14 Years Naga Open Wrestling Championship will be held November 3 and 4 at Pfutsero Sports Complex.
It will be organized by Chakhesang Wrestling Association (CWA), in collaboration with the 4th Edition of the Peace Marathon to be organized by Kalos Society, Pfutsero, informed a press release issued by the organisers.
Kuzholuzo Nienu, MLA & Co-Chairman, UDA and Neikhrolo Khalo, Vice President, Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) will grace the Championship on November 4 as the special guest and guest of honour respectively while Vekhosa Ruho, Former President CWA & Class-1 Contractor, will grace the Under-14 years Championship on November 3 as special guest and will unfurled the association flag. On November 3, ‘Peace Marathon Race’ will start by 6:00 am. The Under-14 Championship will commence from 11:00 am. The U-14 years Championship is limited to 32 wrestlers only on first come first registered basis. The champion will be awarded Rs 10,000. On November 4, Senior Main Championship will be held where the champion will win Rs 2,00,000.
