In Nagaland, there are 3, 68,924 number of job card holders under MGNREGA. Parliamentary secretary for rural development S. Pangnyu Phom told the assembly session here last month.
As per district wise, Kohima district formed the highest number of job card holders with 53,160 followed by Dimapur- 51, 457, Tuensang - 38, 276, Mon – 36, 597, Zunheboto- 36,567, Mokokchung- 31,587, Phek- 30,472, Wokha- 26, 756, Peren- 23,045, Kiphire- 20,844 and Longleng- 20, 163.
An amount of Rs. 573, 87, 26,000 as central assistance and Rs. 27, 34, 63,000 as state matching share totaling Rs. 601, 21, 89,000 has been received during 2011-12.
