3 Box Office records SRK’s Fan broke in three days!

Shah Rukh Khan has been repeatedly saying in his interviews for Fan that it is a different film with an unusual plot and treatment. He still calls it a love story because here’s a fan going bonkers for his idol. The film does get dark and edgy and we have always loved SRK in such films because he is a talent who can portray any role.   Fan showed the mean and nicer sides of the actor where he is seen in a double role. How obsession can turn fatal, Fan depicts that. Of course, people expected blockbuster collections. 52.35 cr in three days is a really good number especially when it released on a non-holiday and isn’t a regular SRK fare as well.   No wonder that it already made three records. Although it is lesser than SRK’s last release 21 cr, Fan’s first day numbers are definitely impressive. And by earning so it beat Airlift which till now had the highest first day collection of this year with 12.36 cr on the tally.

After the drop in collections on Saturday, everyone was concerned about what fate looks like for Fan but a good Sunday collection added the much needed numbers to the tally, thus becoming the highest first weekend collection of 2016. Airlift had 44.03 cr and Fan has crossed it impressively. Taran Adarsh shared the collections with a tweet,   #Highest opening weekend in Pakistan ever   In last three days, Fan in Pakistan has collected Rs. 50 million which is a record in itself. In fact, according to PTI, the bookings for next one week are already booked. That means we might get more info on how the film is faring Pakistan and whether or not it will make some more records.
