Dimapur, July 18 (MExN): A free Covid-19 vaccination drive was held at the Government Primary School (Angami) and Council Hall, Notun Bosti colony, Dimapur on July 17. The Notun Bosti Council Dimapur (NBCD) Chairman, Imkongnukshi Imchen and Secretary, Kavito Ayemi in a press release stated that 300 people were vaccinated during the drive.
It was conducted by medical team from Urban Primary Health Centre (UPHC), Duncan led by Dr Rose, Medical Officer (MO) with four nurses and assisted by ASHA ward No.21, Anganwadi workers along with council office bearers, khel chairperson, GBs, Youth forum president and finance members of NBCD.
According to the council, around 95 percent of the colony residents were vaccinated Covid vaccine. It appealed to the remaining 5 percent residents to get vaccinated for the safety of the colony.
