DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 24 (MExN): The closing ceremony of the 37th annual sports meet-2023 of Ato Area was held at Khehoi village local ground hosted by S Hetoyi. Guest of honor Mughapu V Yepthomi, Advisor cum Consultant, Global Network Group, and VP, Western Sumi Sports Association (WSSA) graced the occasion and gave away trophies, medals and certificate to the winners. In the five day long sports meet, sportspersons from Ato have participated in football, volleyball and badminton.
Addressing the event, Mughapu V Yepthomi complimented the Ato Area for promoting Under 16 football.
Highlight of the programme included welcome address by Kaviho Yeptho, Chief Advisor, AASA; special number by Loyir village; vote of thanks by Vito Z Sumi, President, AASA; and benediction by Rev Luhevi Zhimo, Pastor, Nihokhu village.
