3E presents Kohima Hornbill Gala 2019

3E (Elite Entertainment Enterprise) Nagaland is gearing up to organize Kohima Hornbill Gala 2019 from December 1 to 10 at Naga Solidarity Park, Below New Secretariat Complex, Kohima.

Kohima Hornbill Gala 2019 will be marked by sports, music, and fun fair, said 3E convenor Kethosituo Elvis Mepfhüo while addressing  a press conference here today at Capital Convention Centre.

This event is part of the as part of the Hornbill Festival of Nagaland.
 

Naga wrestling

For Naga wrestling event, Junior category (Under 17) and veteran category (Above 40 years) will take place on December 5.

In veteran category, the champion will receive a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 while the second, third and fourth place winner will get Rs. 25, 000, Rs, 15,000 and Rs. 10,000 respectively.

In junior category, the champion will receive a cash prize of Rs. 20,000 while the second, third and fourth place winner will get Rs. 15, 000, Rs, 10,000 and Rs. 5000 respectively.

Entry fee for junior and veteran have been fixed at Rs. 200 and Rs. 500 respectively.

 
9th Hornbill Half Marathon

3E Nagaland announced that the 9th Hornbill Half Marathon will take place on December 8 in association Nagaland Athletics Association.

It will comprise Half Marathon 21.0975 KM for men and women, 9.1 KM Great Hornbill Run for boys and girls Class 8 & below and one Special Lap for persons with special needs under the theme "Hornbill For All."

In Half Marathon (21.09 KM), cash prizes for men and women stands at- Ist-Rs. 50,000, 2nd- 25,000, 3rd- 15,000 and 4th- Rs. 10,000 respectively.

Cash prize for Great Hornbill Run (9.1 KM) for both boys and girls stands as: Ist- Rs.10, 000, 2nd – 7000, 3rd- Rs. 5000 and 4th – Rs. 3000.

Under Special Lap category, gift hampers will be awarded to all participants.

Registration starts on November 1. Last date for submission of form is November 30 (For Nagaland) and December 7 for outsiders.

Registration fee for Great Hornbill Run (Juniors) has been fixed at Rs. 200 and Half Marathon at Rs. 500.

For participants of Nagaland-Completely filled in Registration Forms must be enclosed with entry fee (non-refundable)) in a sealed envelope and submitted at 3E Nagaland Office, Dzevi Building, 2nd Floor, Opposite UBC (Near Local Ground North Gate), Kohima.

For participants from outside Nagaland - Spot registration will be available till December 7. Runners willing to book their registration in advance may avail Registration Form, Guidelines and Route Map at Hornbill Half Marathon Facebook page (or) 3E Nagaland Facebook group. The entry fee (non-refundable) of Rs. 500/- (Half Marathon) OR Rs. 200/-(Great Hornbill Run) should be deposited in 3E Nagaland Account no. 08990210001233 UCO Bank Kohima Branch (IFSC Code- UCBA0000899). Completed forms along with original bank receipt must be screenshot and sent to Whatsapp +91 9862181431.

For persons with special needs, free registration will be offered through institutions and individual invitations.

For Half Marathon , starting point is Kohima War Cemetery and  finish point at Naga Solidarity Park.

For  Great Hornbill Run, starting point will be High School Junction and finish point at Solidarity Park.

Event for Special Lap will be within Solidarity Park.
 

X1 fight night Kohima

Khriemelie Metha said that X1 Fight Night Kohima (Mixed Martial Arts)  will be held on December 6 and 7.

It will be organized under the aegis of Mixed Martial Arts Association of Nagaland (MMAAN) and MMA India.

The event will feature 16 fights for two days (8 fight each day).

 

Music

The music event will take place in collaboration with Nagaland Outdoor Club (NOC).

It will feature classical night, “blast from the past,” EDM and open air concerts.

Date and event details will be announced by respective organizers.

 

Kids competitions

The event will also witness kids competition for class 8 & below 2019. It will be marked by solo singing & painting competitions.
 

Funfair

It will be marked by ethnic food stalls, Merchandise stalls, Feris wheel & other fun rides, bouncy castle, movie night, etc.
