Jalukie, July 19 (MExN): The 3rd edition of the New Jalukie Super League (NSL) kicked-off on July 18 at The Ball Park, Jalukie Town.
The Season 3 will feature six teams, each vying for the championship title.
In a press release, the Organising Committee informed that the NSL has become a significant platform for emerging football players to showcase their skills and compete at a higher level.
The league has witnessed tremendous growth since its inception, attracting players and generating widespread excitement among the fans in the community, it maintained.
The league has played a crucial role in elevating the standard of football in Jalukie Valley in particular and Peren district in general and the Committee looks forward to witness exceptional talent, fierce rivalries, and unforgettable moments on the field, it added.
It further noted that apart from showcasing senior-level football, the NSL also focuses on promoting grassroots development and nurturing young talent through various initiatives.
The Committee's commitment to youth development aligns with the Super League mission to foster a love for sports and provide opportunities for aspiring athletes, it added.
Speaking as the Special Guest during the opening ceremony of the league, Pastor Gaimunrei Gonmei exhorted the athletes to be equipped and keep fit in physical as well in the spiritual lives keeping the discipline and treasure one’s career.

Reflecting from his experiences, Kingwangbo shared on how God rescue him from being a drug abuser and he also challenged the players, the youth to be more vigilant and live a youthful life for God’s glory.
The opening ceremony was anchored by Aphun Gonmei, Secretary Organising Committee, NSL Season 3.
