DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 1 (MExN): The 3rd KAMC Torque Challenge, organized by the Kohima Adventure Motorsports Club in collaboration with the Thenyizumi Youth Social Welfare Organization and the Tourism Department of Nagaland, concluded on November 30. The event, held in celebration of the 25th Hornbill Festival, brought together motorsports enthusiasts from across the region for an exciting series of races.
The competition saw fierce rivalry in various categories. In the Open category, Ronan Bazeley took first place, followed by Kamalesh Das in second and Hokavi Kiba in third. In the SUV category, Anguzo Sekhose emerged victorious, with Akho Phom securing second place and Kamalesh Das once again finishing in third. In the Below 1300cc category, Ronan Bazeley continued his winning streak, taking first place, while Among Jamir and Vianney Nawrie secured second and third, respectively.
Ronan Bazeley was crowned the overall champion of the event, dominating both the Open and Below 1300cc categories. Akho Phom from Spearheads Mokokchung was recognized as the Most Promising Driver of the competition for his impressive performance throughout the event. The Local Open Moto Sprint Enduro also featured exciting races, with Hukhoto finishing in first place, Sentiyanger in second, and Kolo in third. The event was a resounding success, showcasing the thrilling world of motorsports and adding to the vibrancy of the Hornbill Festival celebrations.
