Kohima, December 3 (MExN): The Government of Nagaland has restructured and renamed the departments dealing with the subject of information technology communication, technical education and science and technology. The department of communication presently under the Transport department is merged with the department of Information Technology. The subject matter of Technical Education along with the SPIU attached to it shall be merged back with the department of Higher Education as before and it shall be named ‘department of Higher & Technical Education’. Also, the department of Science & Technology shall be merged with the department of Information Technology. The department of IT&TE is renamed ‘department of Information Communication & Technology and Science’.
