Peren, February 14 (MExN): The 42nd Kuki Christian Church Nagaland Synod Triennial Khoppi was held at Christian Church Ahthibung Town, Peren under the theme ‘Houbung Pumkhat’ Mt. 16-18 from February 10 to 12.
A press release received here stated that the main speakers were Dr H Khongsai, Principal TTS Imphal, Pr Thangkholet Khongsai, Asst Professor TTS Imphal, Pr Thangjakhup Hangsing, Assistant Professor TTS Imphal and Pr Chungpao Khongsai, Executive Secretary, KCCNS.
The departmental wise meetings were held under the chairmanship of respective department secretary where election of new office bearers took place. The Inpi meeting was also held under the chairmanship of Pa Tonga Hangsing Chairman CGKCC and Pa Lengsat Doungel Chairman, MGKCC. Reports were presented by KCCNS Executive Secretary, Secretary KCKNS (Youth), Secretary KCNNS (Women), Secretary KCUNS (Man).
During the conference, token of appreciation were given to nine elderly above 90 years of age.
The Kuki Christian Khangthah (KCK) Nagaland Synod Hymnal completion was held in both the Baptized and Non-Baptized category where KCK Medziphema, KCK Mongjang (Bongkolong) & KCK Phanjang were adjudged the winner, 1st Runner up and 2nd runner up respectively. In the Baptised category while KCK Medziphema, KCK Mongjang (Bongkolong) and KCK Phaipijang was adjudged 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively in the Non-Baptized category. Live praise & worship and Bible quiz were also part of the event. More than 700 delegates from 26 churches of KCCNS attended the conference.
