Winners of 43rd Baptist College sports meet.
KOHIMA, OCTOBER 27 (MExN): The Student Council of Baptist College, Kohima organized its 43rd Sports Meet from October 23 to 25 at Seikhazou Ground and Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima, under the theme “Empower through Sports.”
The opening ceremony was held at Seikhazou Ground, D-Khel, Kohima with Vipralhou Kesiezie, Chairman, Governing Body, Baptist College as the Guest of Honour.
Altogether, four teams namely Shilloi, Dzükou, Japfü and Saramati competed in various group and individual events such as football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, table tennis, Naga wrestling, arm wrestling, running race, shotput, long jump etc.
Team Saramati emerged as the overall Champion.
