Mokokchung, December 17 (MExN): The 45th Ever Green Club Intra Village Volleyball Tournament kicked off at Soyim, Aonglenden here on December 17.
Inaugurating the tournament, BJP Mokokchung unit President, Imolemba Jamir called for the youngsters to look beyond and excel in whatever professions that they aspire for. He said that the world is advancing in a very fast pace and therefore urged the youngsters to adapt with the changing time.
While calling for the youngsters, especially in the field of games and sports, to focus on endurance and knowledge, he urged the sportsmen to aspire and compete in the national and international arenas.
As a founding member of the Ever Green Club, Jamir asked the club members to emulate the elders and keep the vision and motto of the club now and in the days to come.
Ten volleyball teams from all over Nagaland are participating in this tournament. Officials from all the mandals (assembly constituency), Morchas and Cells attended the programme.
