The 4th edition of the Nagaland Photography Festival concluded today at Mandeville Garden, Dimapur, celebrating a vibrant mix of photography, music, entrepreneurship, and youth creativity under the theme “Vision 360– Vision in Every Direction.”

Organised by the Photography Club Dimapur (PCD), the two-day festival on September 19 and 20 aimed to provide a holistic platform for artists, creators, and entrepreneurs across the state.

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton commended PCD for its vision in creating a meaningful platform. He observed that it is rare to see artists, photographers, musicians, entrepreneurs, and promoters of tourism sharing the same stage, and described the event as a unique blend of art and collaboration. Patton further underlined photography’s role in capturing traditions, landscapes, and everyday life, while also serving as a tool to showcase Nagaland’s cultural heritage and natural beauty to the world. He stressed that such platforms are vital for giving visibility to young talents whose creativity often remains unnoticed.

The opening programme featured a welcome address by PCD Vice President Sorei Jagoi and a vote of thanks from Festival Convenor Mireuyi Herie. An arm-wrestling exhibition match involving six national-level athletes and a music evening headlined by Moko Koza added to the inaugural day’s attractions.

Activities on the second day included workshops aimed at skill development and professional exposure. Canon and Fashion Photography sessions were conducted by Ashwini Barkataki, EOS Explorer, while filmmaker and Sony Alpha Brand Ambassador (Myanmar), Wunna Kyaw, led a filmmaking workshop.

The closing ceremony was graced by Dimapur Deputy Commissioner Dr Tinojongshi Chang as special guest, with a vote of thanks delivered by PCD Assistant General Secretary Achano Tungoe. The 4th edition concluded with a music and entertainment session.
