4x4attitude, co-founded by cousins Senthungo Ovung and Yanrenthung Jamio, extended its flagship experience store in Chümoukedima on Friday, July 25. Located opposite the Saturday Bazaar, the store aims to deliver complete automotive lifestyle and performance solutions.
The grand opening was graced by Seyeikhrietuo Solo, EAC, Chümoukedima, as the Guest of Honour, while the store was formally inaugurated by Dr NL Jamio.
Founded in 2011, 4x4attitude has grown from a 10x10 storeroom into a brand recognized for premium 4x4 upgrades, off-road accessories, and customized automotive builds. It began as a passion project and has since evolved into a community for vehicle enthusiasts across the region and beyond.
In the welcome note, co-founder Yanrenthung Jamio shared the journey behind the venture highlighting the early stages which started as “a Facebook page and a few dealership tie-ups with Prad4x4 and Swastikfabs.”
The brand went on to build vehicles for the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority and develop a Forensic Investigation Van for the Nagaland Police. Over the years, they have handled international competition-spec Gypsies and full-scale restorations for clients across the country.
In the vote of thanks, co-founder Senthungo Ovung stated that they envision to serve together in various ways despite their challenges and discrepancies “Being in Nagaland, it's very hard. But we’re trying to progress every day, every day is a new lesson.”
"We're opening a new garage with state-of-the-art facilities and services.” Ovung added.
The expansion of the store features globally reputed brands including K&N, BMC, Brembo, Old Man Emu, JBL, Infinity, Liqui Moly, Yokohama, and more. The showroom also debuted its merchandise line for auto lovers, with a scale model and RC segment to follow.
Additionally, it was declared that a multi-brand service facility will be launched right behind the 4x4attitute store under the name ‘EvoTech Workshop and Detailing Center.’ While some consignments are still en route, the founders emphasized this is just the beginning.
