3rd Biennial Youth Conference of Association of the Gorkha Baptist Churches Nagaland will be held at KBBB Mission Centre Mon District from October 7 to 9.
Dimapur, September 1 (MExN): The 3rd Biennial Youth Conference of Association of the Gorkha Baptist Churches Nagaland (AGBCN) 2022 will be held at KBBB Mission Centre Mon District from October 7 to 9. The three-day conference under the theme ‘Be still and know that I am God’ (Psalms 46:10) will be hosted by Gorkha Baptist Church Youth Ministry Mon.
AGBCN, youth secretary, Shishir Lama in a press release stated that there are 53 Gorkha Churches in Nagaland under AGBCN at present.
The conference speakers are Adrain Dewan, song writer & worship leader from Nepal and Uma Magar, Deputy Executive Director, International Needs Network Nepal. Greetings and exhortation will be shared by Rev M Chemyuh Konyak, Executive Secretary, KBBB, Rupendra Magar, AGBCN Missionary, Baglung, Khani Goan Nepal, Rev K Santabir Rai, Executive Secretary, AGBCN and Wangchah Konyak, Youth Secretary, KBBB.
Praise and worship will be lead by Nepali Baptist Church Kohima Youth Department and Gorkha Baptist Church Mon Youth Ministry.
The secretary also stated that the youth conference will be a platform for the Gorkha Christian youths of Nagaland to showcase their talents and also to bring our community people together from different districts of Nagaland. “The youth conference hopes to bring in variegated youth related programmes including music, Dance and most importantly the word of God,” he stated.
Some of the main events include Battle of Bands from different Gorkha churches of Nagaland, Gorkha Cultural Dance Competition, Secretary Report Competition and Live concert will be held during Battle of Bands on October 8 evening and special presentation by KBCM Youth Ministry.
All the Board Members have been requested to reach the host church on October 5 and the delegates of the AGBCN churches on October 7.
