57th PSA meet 2021 concludes

The four-day 57th meet of the Phek Sports Association (PSA) concluded at Phek village on February 27.

Vezuhu Keyho, treasurer, Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) graced the closing ceremony and gave away the prize to the winners. In his address, Keyho said that discipline and good manners are the main components to shine in the field of games and sports. He also called upon the people to maintain unity and peace for all round development.

The closing function was chaired by PSA vice president Vesakho Vero.

Bible Hill/Surhoba topped the medal tally with 17 medals (11 Gold and 3 silver and 3 bronze).

The meet featured track and field events, Naga style category wrestling, football, volleyball and basketball. The new PSA team for 2021-22 tenure has also been announced with Veto Hoshi as president and Kudezo Vero as general secretary, among the others.
