Football, Volleyball and Sepaktakraw marked day five event of the ongoing 60th annual games & sports meet 2022 of Southern Angami Sports Association (SASA) at Jakhama Ground and Kimipfüphe Ground, Kigwema with Kevingoto Kulnu, EAC (Revenue), Kohima as the match patron.

In men’s football match played at Jakhama Ground, Viswema defeated Kigwema 1-0.

Kidima blanked Khuzama 3-0, played at Kimipfüphe Ground.

Jakhama defeated Phesama via tie breaker 3-2.

In another football match at Kimipfüphe ground, Kezoma overpowered Kezo Basa 3-0.

In the first match of Men’s volleyball, Kezo Basa defeated Kidima.

Mima emerged victorious against opponent Khuzama in another match of men’s volleyball.

Kezo Town downed Phesama in men’s volleyball played at Kimipfüphe ground.

In women’s volleyball, Kigwema defeated Viswema in three straight set.

Kidima defeated Jakhama in women’s volleyball.

Phesama downed Kezo Town in another match of women’s volleyball.

Kigwema will play with Kezoma in women’s volleyball semi finals on February 4. In another semi final, Phesama will face Kidima. In Men’s volleyball semi finals, Kezoma will clash with Mima while Kigwema will face Kezo Town.

Jakhama will clash with Viswema in Men’s football semi finals while Kidima will face Kezoma in another semi final.

In Sepaktakraw (Men), Viswema defeated Jakhama in the first match while Jakhama overpowered Kidima in the second match.

Viswema registered win over Kidima in the third match.

Viswema will now face Jakhama in Sepaktakraw (Men’s) finals on February 4.

Kidima will clash with Viswema in finals of Sepaktakraw (Women).

The closing function will take place on February 4 at 2:00 PM at Jakhama Local Ground with Videlalie Zashiümo, IPS, DIGP Borders, Dimapur as the closing guest.

The programme will be chaired by SASA Joint Secretary Rokuo Noho while prize distribution will be led by SASA Joint Athletics & Games Secretary Kelekhol Naleo.

Vote of thanks will be proposed by SASA General Secretary Sahovi John Phinyo.

Meanwhile, there will be a football exhibition match between SASA and Southern Angami Youth Organization (SAYO) on February 4 at 1:30 PM.
