T Khel completely dominated in track and field events at the ongoing 63rd KVSA meet 2018, which entered day three on Tuesday at Kohima Local Ground.

T Khel swept winning 17 Gold Medals out of the 23 Gold Medals decided so far. D.Khel clinched 3 Gold Medals, P.Khel annexed 2 Gold Medals and a lone Gold Medal by L.Khel.
The historic Khuochiezie came alive with loud roar of cheers as two young lass’ sprinters from T. Khel broke two longest running records of KVSA Sports meet on Tuesday.
Becoming the fastest runner in Women sprint event, Kekhrieneinuo Solo (T.Khel) broke the 24 year-old record by 0.05 seconds; she clocked 14.35 seconds in 100 meters in women.
Dziesengunuo Solo (T Khel) also stunned the 24-year old record in 200 meters in women by 0.35 seconds, with the timing 29.93 seconds.
Both the record were held by Neingunuo Belho (T.Khel) since 1994, when she clocked 14.40 seconds and 30.28 seconds in 100 and 200 women’s event respectively.
The women’s T.Khel Relay Squad comprising of Dziesengunuo Solo, Kekhrieneinuo Solo, Neikesonuo Belho and Keneizenuo Suohu, combined together script another history beating the 24 year-old record by 1.19 seconds in 4x 100 relay race for women. They clocked 1 minute.15 seconds. Earlier record stood at 1 minute 01.34 second also held by T.Khel.
Reigning supreme again the T.Khel Men Rally team, Keviprhrii Sekhose , Neiketoulie Belho, Medoneituo Sekhose and Menuokhrielie Solo run home in styles clocking 48.31 seconds in the 4x 100 relay race for men beating the previous record set in 2000 by 0.38 seconds. They beat the L. Khel quartet Astiiu Miachieo, Rukuobeilhou Dziivichii, Vizopralie Dziivichii, Petekhriezo Dziivichii timing of 49.09 in 2000 KVSA meet.
Altogether eight records were re-written in Athletics events at the ongoing 63d KVSA meet 2018.
In men volleyball in the first match , L.Khel beat P.Khel by 3-2 sets, while the second match between D.Khel and T.Khel will be played on Wednesday. The Chess competition were on till the filling of the report.
