7 remaining NPF MLAs endorse party’s move for opposition-less government

Dimapur, July 29 (MExN): The Naga People’s Front Legislative Party (NPFLP)’s resolution on July 19 to support and participate in an opposition-less government in the State has received support from the remaining 7 MLAs who were not present earlier during the adoption of the resolution.

In their letter to the leader of the NPFLP on July 28, the 7 MLAs:  C L John, Kejong Chang, Toyang Chang, E E Pangteang , Thongwang Konyak, Eshak Konyak and Nganglang Phom endorsed the resolution which they said, was aimed at unity and to facilitate early resolution of the Indo-Naga Political issue.

“Unity of the 60 Members of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly and the two Members of Parliament of Nagaland for the proposal of an opposition-less government, in pursuit of our collective endeavor to arrive at unity and resolution of the Naga political issue, is welcomed and supported by us,” they stated.
