Dimapur, May 12 (MExN): The power house of the Telangsao Mini Hydro Project (200 X 3 KW) in Mon district was damaged on May 9 due to a heavy landslide. The project is located in Changlangshu Village in Mon district. According to a press release received here from Changlangshu Village Council Chairman S. Kehoang and Head GB B.N. Wanmai, the turbine generators of the project were damaged, and the electricity supply to seven neighbouring villages including Tobu Sub-Division cut off. They have requested the state government and concerned department to look into the damage caused and restore electricity supply to the areas at the earliest.
