Dimapur, March 30 (MExN): The Raven Club booked their spot in the quarter final after defeating the Ukigei FC with one solitary goal in the ongoing 7th Frolic Cup on March 30. The goal came in the second half through the boot of Janghao Chongloi in the 45 minute. Rajukhrieto was caution for rough play. The Ravens will face Kuki Youth Club in the quarter final.
In the 1st quarter final, Amigos FC defeated Patkai Christian College with a comfortable margin of 5 goals to 1. Nyithung scored the opening goal in the 8th minute followed by hatrick by Sinlo in the 14 minute and a hatrick by Shalo (24, 62 & 70 minute). The consolation goal for the Patkai team came from Robin at 40 minute. Visosieto of Patkai was cautioned.
In the 2nd quarter final, Paohao Memorial FC booked their semi final berth after edging pass the Falcon United Club Juniors with a Solitaru goal. Despite the constant attack from both sides, the solitary goal was the deciding factor for the match. The goal came from Ratobe of PMFC in the 5 minute. Nganbom & Sehminlen was awarded Caution for Unfair play. The final score was PMFC -1: UFC Jr -0.
