Kohima, November 24 (MExN): The Kohima District Volleyball Association (KDVA) is conducting the 7th Kohima District Open Volleyball Tournament 2019 (Men & Women) from November 25 to 28 at Kohima Local Ground.
Alun Hangsing, secretary, Youth Resources & Sport will grace the opening ceremony as special guest on November 25 at 1:00 PM.
Welcome address will be delivered by KDVA president Visasielie Suohu.
Mhalevilie Kere, technical secretary KDVA will administer oath to the participating teams.
The champion in men’s category will get Rs.40,000 while runner-up will receive Rs. 20,000.
The prize money for women category stand at Rs.30,000 and Rs. 15,000 for champion and runner up respectively. Semi finalists will get Rs. 5000 each.
All participants have been asked to report at the Kohima Local Ground by 12:00 noon.
