Kohima, April 17 (MExN): The 7th Kohima Open Air Rifle Shooting competition 2024 for both men and women will be held on May 4 at D. Khel indoor stadium and D. Khel ground Seikhazou, Kohima village.
Kethosituo Sekhose, Director, Youth Resources & Sports, Govt of Nagaland will be the special guest at the inaugural function at 9:30 AM.
The following categories will conducted during the competition. 10m Air Rifle peep Sight (Men & Women), 10m Air Pistol (Men & Women), 10m Air Rifle open sight - PCP/break barel (Open) and 25m Air Rifle with scope bench rest. (Open)
For 10m event, entry fee will be Rs 500 for each category. Entry fee for 25m category will be 1000/-
Last date for submission of entry form along with entry fee is on or before May 2.
The winners of this competition will represent Kohima District team in the forthcoming Inter District Shooting Championship 2024 to be held at Dimapur in the month of May 2024.
