Kohima, October 25 (MExN): The 7th in the erstwhile Dimapur, and now Chümoukidima district, has been renamed "Kozabe." It was included in the change of name of five villages notified recently by the State Home Department. The rest of the villages are located in Mon district. These are the renaming of Longpho to Longphaoh; Longching to Longchang; Goching to Chi Guhching; and Tang to Tangnyu. The change of names has been made effective immediately, as per a DIPR report. The Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has approved the same in a letter dated September 1, 2023, it added.
