Kohima, March 19 (MExN): All State Services Associations has “temporarily suspended” the proposed agitation over implementation of 7th Revision of Pay (RoP). The decision was made after a meeting held between Cabinet Sub-Committee and office bearers of All State Services Associations on March 19 at Hotel Japfü. The Cabinet Sub-Committee assured at the meeting that the implementation of 7th RoP will be taken up in all sincerity in the State Cabinet immediately, according to a press release from S Takatuba Aier, President, CANSSEA and Convenor of All State Services Associations. The joint meeting was followed by a separate meeting of the State Services Associations wherein it was resolved to request the Government to convey its decision at the earliest. It was also informed that the office bearers of All State Services Associations will hold a meeting on March 23, 4:00 pm in the conference hall of CANSSEA for further consultation.
