Chümoukedima, February 4 (MExN): In first semifinal match of the ongoing 7th Unity Cup T20 cricket tournament organized by Nepali Baptist Church Chümoukedima Youth Sports Ministry, Dimapur Slammers CC won the match by 98 runs against Deccan Strikers CC on February 4.
In the morning, Dimapur Slammers CC batted first and scored 249 Runs in 20 over. Wahid of Dimapur Slammers cc was the highest scorer scoring 72(39) runs.
Chasing the target, Deccan Strikers CC felt short of 98runs and got all out at 152. Nagaho was Adjudged Man of the match for his 52 (20) Runs knock and 2 wicket haul.
In the second semifinal match, Hurricane CC won the match by three wickets against Big Shots CC during 7th Unity Cup Semifinal match.
In the evening match, Big Shots CC batted first and scored 143 Runs in 20 over. Imliwati of Bigshots cc was the highest scorer scoring 48 (25) runs.
Chasing the target Hurricane CC chased the target in just 17.3. Anil of Hurricane CC was Adjudged Man of the match for his 36 (32) Runs knock.
Final match will be played on February 7 at 10:00 am. Kutoho Chishi, Working President, Dimapur District Congress Committee will grace the final match as special guest and presentation will be given by Gideon Gurung, Pastor, Gorkha Baptist Church Diphupar and BB Sewa Advisor.
