8th Horsepower Challenge 2019 concludes

The Nagaland Adventure Club (NAC) has successfully conducted 8th Horsepower Challenge 2019 and 1st North East Championship from November 21 to 23 last at Phriebagei, (Medical College), P. Khel, Kohima village.

The event was marked by final round of 1st North East Championship in memory of Late KK Paul Rutsa.

The three day long event witnessed 105 riders from Assam, Meghalaya, Tura, Mokokchung, Dimapur, Jowai, Delhi and Kohima.

They competed in various categories of stage rally and motocross enduro for cars and bikes respectively.

Under 4 wheelers event, it featured SUV, Car Open and Rookie and Motocross Enduro featured Bike Open and Rookie.

Meanwhile, the champion of the 1st Northeast event will represent the region at the national level.

In memory of late KK Paul Rutsa, the NAC has introduced running trophy for the overall champion during the meet, which was sponsored by the family members of KK Paul Rutsa.

The family of KK Paul Rutsa also sponsored trophy for the winners of both SUV and car categories.
