Mokokchung, January 9 (MExN): The Adventure and Motorsports Association of Mokokchung (AMAM) in a press release announced that the club is all set to host the 8th Edition of the Mokokchung AutoX & Sprint 2025. This exhilarating event will take place at Yimchüla, a picturesque tourist village in Mokokchung.
Moasashi Jamir, President AMAM and Mar Imchen, Convenor of the event in the press release stated that racing enthusiasts and adrenaline junkies can expect two action-packed days featuring races across three competitive categories: Open, Below 1300, and SUV. The event promises to deliver high-speed thrills withAutoX races on a gravel and dirt track (Wet/Dry) at the Sungratsu Sports Complex, where racers will showcase their agility and precision and Sprint races on a demanding pure tarmac track (Wet/Dry), pushing participants to their limits.
The Prize Money for the event will be: Open Category: Rs 70,000 (1st place), Rs 40,000 (2nd place), Rs 30,000 (3rd place), Below 1300 Category: Rs 40,000 (1st place), Rs 30,000 (2nd place), Rs 20,000 (3rd place) and SUV Category: Rs 40,000 (1st place), Rs 30,000 (2nd place), Rs 20,000 (3rd place)
Adding to the excitement, AMAM has introduced a brand-new feature this year: the Open Motocross (Local) event, offering local racing talent a platform to shine.
The 8th Mokokchung AutoX & Sprint 2025 holds special significance as it also serves as the second round of the North-East Championships 3.0 (2025).
