8th Nagaland Spelling Bee Championship 2019

Kohima, October 1 (MExN): The Fountain Club Kohima in partnership with State Council Educational Research & Training (SCERT) is organizing the 8th edition of Nagaland Spelling Bee Championship 2019 from October 3 to 4 at Capital Convention Centre Kohima.


The championship will be held under the theme “The learning edge.”


Toshi Wungtung, advisor for SCERT, I&PR and Village Guards will be the “Bee Guest” in the inaugural function on October 3 at 9:30 am.


Welcome address will be delivered by organizing committee convenor, Neizokhotuo Belho while keynote address will be delivered by Yevito Sema, additional director SCERT.


Dr Kenei Miachieo, IFS, Member Secretary, Nagaland Pollution Control Board, Government of Nagaland will be the special guest in the closing function on October 4 at 2:00 pm.


Vipopal Kintso will be the chief judge. Other judges will include; Dr Theyiesino Keditsu, Daniel Thong, Ani Sekhose, Sonian and Rosemary Achumi.


Due to technical reasons, the release stated that some of the forms received are incomplete, therefore, the last date has been extended and the participants can submit their forms on spot before the inaugural session commence on October 3.


The organizers have appealed to all school authorities to send 3 interested students from class VI to IX to participate in the championship.
