Dimapur, June 16 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, Anoop Kinchi and Commissioner Police Dimapur Rothihu Tetseo visited CISHR Dimapur to see the overall progress of BSL 2 installation which is urgently required for undertaking more test of COVID 19 samples at Dimapur.
Managing Director CISHR, Dr Sedevi informed the visiting officials that 90% of the works has been completed and presently application process with ICMR is under process according to a DIPR report. All details would be sent to ICMR through a prescribed form and videos of the work done would be uploaded. Once ICMR gives the green signal, the lab would be functional, Dr Sedevi informed. He also informed that scientist from Jorhat would be arriving Dimapur on June 16 evening, for imparting training to the BSL2 team.
