Kohima, October 12 (MExN): The 9th edition of Nagaland Spelling Bee Championship 2022 under the aegis of Fountain Club Kohima in collaboration with the State Council of Educational Research & Training (SCERT), Nagaland will start from October 13 at RCEMPA Jotsoma.
The inaugural function will take place at 9:30 AM. Mmhonlumo Kikon, Advisor, Information Technology & Communication, Science & Technology and N&RE, Nagaland will grace the championship as “bee guest.” Keynote address will be delivered by SCERT Director N Chumchanbeni Kikon.
The judges will include: Bendangdenla Yaden, Kekhrieneinuo Sekhose and Temjenmenla Imchen. Jury board will consists Vipopal Kintso, Medo Yhokha and Neizokhotuo Belho. Pronouncers; Mechiini Whiso Iralu, B. Sonam Jemphang, Agnes Krocha, Naroti, Adila and Riiiibino Peseyie.
The championship will continue till October 14. The Spelling Bee Championship is organised in partnership with The Morung Express, Ramietech Solutions, Crystal Cables Kohima and Mirrorless Films.

Runner-up: Rs 40,000
3rd Position: Rs 20,000
4th Position: Rs 15,000
Quarter finalists: Rs 5000 each
Young Speller Award: Rs 4000
