Dimapur, January 5 (MExN): The 22nd annual conference of Ato Area Students’ Union (AASU) was successfully held from December 28 to 30, 2010 at S. Hetoi village. A press note informed that Kihoto Hollohon, MLA, Ghaspani-II A/C graced the inaugural session as the chief guest, while Hekali V. Zhimomi, Director, Census Operation, government of India graced the technical session as chief guest. Kavito Awomi, Inspector, Food and Civil Supplies graced the introductory session as guest of honor and Ghukiho T. Jimomi, MIP Secretary, GPRN/NSCN was the speaker for the conference. Atokhe Aye, EAC Nihokhu and MM Thakur, Company Commander, Assam Rifle posted at Nihokhu also attended the conference as special guests. Various sports, cultural and literary competitions were conducted during the three days event. The note also mentioned that more than five hundred students representing the villages of the area attended the conference.
