Kohima, August 23 (MExN): The Kohima District Volleyball Association (KDVA) will be holding G. Rio Memorial Volleyball Trophy (13th Kohima Open Volleyball Tournament) in the last week of October 2026 at Khuochiezie (Kohima Local Ground). This was resolved at the recent first executive meeting of the KDVA for the tenure 2026-2029, held at the residence of KDVA president Mhalelhou Mere. KDVA Foundation Day falls on 3rd September every year. However, as preceded before by the predecessors and to make the day convenient to all the members of KDVA, the house agreed to postpone the Foundation Day to 5th September.
Meanwhile, the KDVA new team for the tenure 2026-29 includes; President-Mhalelhou Mere,Vice President (Admn)-Hetuo Solo, Vice President (Sport)- Neivikhotuo Vielie, Secretary-Keneikhotuo, Joint secretary- Vikhozolie Rülho, Treasurer-Virüno Chase, Technical secretary-Vilesü Mekro, Assistant Technical Secretary- Visakuolie Kengurüse and Avitsi, Property Secretary- Pekruzekho Casavi and Keneilhoulie Chietsü, Women Co-ordinator-Ruovikhonuo Kiewhuo, Abu Chietsü, Kezhasenuo Kuotsu and Nokethono, Publicity Secretary-Chizokho Vero and Visosienuo Shüya. The advisors includes; Visasielie Suhu, Keviselhou Peseyie and Keneilezo Sechü.
