IMPUR, APRIL 16 (MExN): The Ao Baptist Arogo Mungdang (ABAM) Youth Ministry conducted a three-day Lead Like Jesus (LLJ) Encounter for the Nagamese Baptist Churches Association (NBCA) from April 14 to 16 in Impur. The program brought together 52 pastors, including women and youth pastors from NBCA.

The event was held under the "Share Your Needs and Share Your Resources" initiative of the Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) Youth Department, with ABAM participating as a partner association. As part of this collaboration, ABAM extended its resources to facilitate the LLJ Encounter for NBCA leaders.

The LLJ Encounter is an international leadership development movement that emphasizes servant leadership modeled on the teachings of Jesus. It encourages participants to lead with humility and love, rather than relying on status and authority, which the program identifies as potential sources of pride and fear—often leading to ineffective leadership.

Participants reflected on their leadership styles and explored how to better serve their congregations and communities by embracing servant leadership principles. The facilitators for the program were Toshi Sanglir, Secretary of ABAM Youth Ministry, and Teka Imchen, Coordinator of ABAM Youth Ministry.
