ABAM Sunday School Teachers Triennial Conference organized by ABAM Literature & Education Ministry was held at Impur from September 22 to 24.
Impur, September 24 (MExN): The three-day ABAM Sunday School Teachers Triennial Conference organized by the ABAM Literature & Education Ministry was held at Impur from September 22 to 24.
The conference was held on the theme, “Unconditional love of God in the history of Salvation” (1 John 4:19) under the leadership of Dr Moanungsang Tzüdir, Secretary, Literature & Education, ABAM.
The speakers for the worship services were Rev Dr Mar Pongener, Executive Secretary, ABAM, Dr Moanungsang Tzüdir, Secretary, Literature & Education, ABAM, Alice Walling, APCE, KABA and Dr Awala Temshi, Administrator, Straightway Christian Mission Centre, Mokokchung.
There was also workshop sections in which Lead like Jesus in Salvation history, Practical Leadership, Creativity in the Salvation history, and Culture in the Salvation history were covered. Resource persons were Toshi Sanglir, Secretary, ABAM YM, Kilang Lkr Pastor Nukmen BA, Imnatoshi Lkr, Associate Pastor, DABA, and Robert Longkumer, Founder & Director, Christian Centre for Visual and Performing Arts.
There was also a debate session on the topic “The Church lifts the history of Salvation high” which was indeed a session of inspiration towards the seriousness of God's mission.
Altogether 749 Delegates from 117 churches under the aegis of ABAM attended the conference.
“As Sunday School Teachers go and teach especially the young people, our prayer is that God will bring out many God-fearing leaders who will significantly participate in the fight for true Christian integrity,” Rev Dr Mar stated in a press release.
