A two-day long Quinquennial conference of the Angami Baptist Church Council (ABCC) commenced today at Khuochiezie (Kohima Local Ground) under the theme “Arise, Shine.”
The conference started with a flag hoisting ceremony at ABCC Mission Centre, Kohima. The ceremony was graced by Rev Dr Rachülie Vihienuo, executive secretary ABCC. The ceremony was led by Rev Vilodi Sakhrie, vice president ABCC while Khedi Baptist Church choir presented special number.
Later, Rev Dr Rachülie Vihienuo spoke on the topic “The Church of Christ: Prepare for Renewal) at the first service at Khuochiezie. Rev Dr Kevichalie Metha, convenor Krodi Kehou delivered welcome address.
During Focus Group programme, Rev KN Kele, Director, CRMT spoke at Ao Baptist Church Kohima, Neisakuolie Mere Kesiyie, Director ABCCTK at Khuochiezie, Ruokuovinuo Noudi, Director ABTK at Rengma Baptist Church Kohima, Kevilhouleü S Kehie, Director ABKK at Sümi Bapist Church Kohima and Azonuo Ciesotsu, Director ABNK at Union Baptist Church Kohima.
Later, Rev Dr Ashok Andrews, pastor Kolkata Bible Church spoke at the evening service. He spoke on the topic “The Church of Christ: Renewed to Endure.”
Meanwhile, the morning service on January 19, will take place from 10:00 AM onwards. Greetings will be shared by Rev Dr Zelhou Keyho, General Secretary, Nagaland Baptist Church Council. Rev Dr Rev Dr Rachülie Vihienuo will speak on the topic “The Church of Christ: Renewed to Impact). Rev Dr Ashok Andrews will speak on the topic “The Church of Christ: Arise, Shine” at the evening service at 3:00 PM.
