With regard to the news items that appeared in the local dailies on 9th Feb 2013 under the caption NSCN (IM) clarifies the ACCC Pughoboto is compelled to question the wisdom of NSCN (IM) for their involvement in the forthcoming general election in Nagaland. Out of 60 constituencies with 188 candidates the ACCC Pughboto do not understand why the NSCN (IM) harassed, intimidated and threatened only the INC candidate from Pughoboto constituency. Why INC candidate and his people were prevented at gunpoint to tour his constituency while NPF candidate is given a free hand to tour any village he likes. The ACCC Pughoboto also would like to know why NSCN (IM) summoned the chief agent of INC candidate to their Mukali designated camp and was harassed and intimidated without any reason.
Is there a hidden agenda. Are all these incidents happened because the NPF candidate is the nephew if the chairman of NSCN (IM). If the NSCN (IM) feels that the nephew of the chairman should be an elected member of the Nagaland legislative assembly and would be supporting him by any means that the NSCN (IM) should have informed us before filing of nomination so that we would have pave the way for your candidate instead of confronting with you.
