ACID members attend Micro Enterprise Development Prog on detergent making

Dimapur, September 9 (MExN):  The Assisi Centre for Integrated Development (ACID) commenced its MEDP programme on detergent making for 30 members in its office on September 8.

The programme was initiated through the support of National Bank for Agricultural and Rural Development (NABARD), Dimapur.

Sr Pramila Lobo UFS, Director ACID organisation in her welcome address expressed gratitude to NABARD for their constant support to the organisation to uplift the women through different skill development training programmes. 

NABARD has been supporting the organisation for conducting different need based programmes through Micro Enterprise Development Programme (MEDP) which attempts to bridge the skill deficit or facilitates optimization of production activities already pursued by SHG members.

S C Sahoo DGM NABARD Regional Office, Dimapur in his inaugural session expressed that the skills that we learn is not a waste. Rahul Tiwari the DA of NABARD encouraged the SHG members to function and to become self-sufficient while helping one another.

The programme was facilitated by Bendangmoa, in-charge for MEDP programmes in ACID organisation. The programme began with invocation pronounced by Amakla and concluded with the distribution of dry ration to the members.
