DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 25 (MExN): The Act of Kindness Magnum Opus VII finale 2021 was held at the Don Bosco Institute of Development and Leadership in Dimapur on October 25. 

The event was hosted by Kilentola Jamir with the keynote address by Matsungla Imsong. The invocation was pronounced by Imnatoshi, Associate Pastor, DABA. 

Prizes for the photography, painting, poetry and original song competitions were presents to the winners. 

The Best 10 from the painting competition will compete for Mural Painting & Stone Painting at Senapati, Manipur powered by P. K Shedu Resort.

Wathy Jamir was the winner of the photography competition while Temjenmatsung Ozukum was the runner up. The poetry competition saw Longjenti longkumer as the winner with Chumben B Yanthan coming second. The winners were awarded Rs 5,000 each while the runners up were given Rs 2,000 each. 

Meanwhile, in the original song competition, Nchumbemo Patton was the winner and bagged Rs 10,000 along with audio production by Music Records & Video Production by Richa Productions. 

In the open painting competition, Christopher Hart won the prize of Rs 10,000 while Vili A Chophy bagged the Rs 5,000 second prize. 

The best 10 from the painting competition will compete for mural painting and stone painting at Senapati, Manipur powered by PK Shedu Resort. They include Christopher Hart Vili A Chophy, Mannyei Phom, Medovituo, Thang Paite, Suidigwangbe, Wulo Akami, Akangsenep Jamir, Peteneizo Nagi, and Tsuzolu Rhakho. 

The event also saw launching of a book ‘The Sky Bride and Other Tales Retold’ by Tiala Kikon. The book was released by Dr Imdong Phom, Additional Director, DUDA.
