Additional CEO accorded farewell

DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 31 (MExN): A farewell programme for Ruokuovituo Khezhie, retiring Additional Chief Electoral Officer was held on October 31 at AWO KI, Kohima. The programme was chaired by Sharon Longchari, Joint CEO and Kuovizol Savi, Asst. Superintendent delivered the invocation prayer.

The Chief Electoral Officer Vyasan R, IAS expressed his wishes to the retiring officer and shared his experiences of working with him. “It was wonderful to see his diligence and good coordination abilities. Through his work he has been able to contribute to society, which is a real source of happiness. It is also a matter of gratitude that he is retiring in good health, and can continue to contribute to society,” he said. 

In his farewell speech, the retiring Additional Chief Electoral officer said that he has rendered 35 years of service in the Election Department. He stressed that during his service, he had faced varied experiences and had worked wholeheartedly and diligently. He thanked his colleagues and also his family for the continuous support. 

Short speeches were delivered by Awa Lorin, Joint CEO; Alila Chang, Deputy CEO; Mhiesivilhu Mor, Superintendent; and Olivi Thurr, AEO Kohima. The programme ended with a vote of thanks from Roland Merry, Assistant CEO followed by a prayer.
