DIMAPUR, DEC 29 (MExN): NNC President Adinno Phizo has in her New Year message called for total withdrawal of the Indian armed forces from Nagaland while reminding that the core issue remained Indian aggression and that any solution lies in the removal of Indian armed forces.
“As much the Indian people cherish freedom for India; so also the Naga people love their Nagaland. In the name of peace, the people of Nagaland let it be known to the GoI that the core issue between the two nations remain Indian aggression and the solution lies in the total withdrawal of the Indian armed forces from Nagaland. From ancient time the Naga people consistently defended freedom, can India deny Nagaland freedom?” Adinno queried in her statement.
