Dimapur, June 12 (MExN): Advisor to the Chief Minister for New & Renewable Energy, Picto Shohe, conducted field visits to two major power projects in Nagaland on June 12.
According to a press release from the Press Secretary to the Advisor, Shohe reviewed the 10 MW Solar Power Plant at Hovukhu village in Niuland district and the 2x75 KW Noiroi Stage-II Hydro Electric Project at Punglwa village in Peren district.
During the visits, he held detailed interactions with officials of the Department of New and Renewable Energy to assess the status of the projects and review departmental activities across the state.
The Advisor appreciated the efforts of the officials and urged them to extend full support and cooperation as the department works to strengthen Nagaland’s renewable energy sector, the release stated.
