A three-day Sports and Scripture Engagement (SSE) training seminar was held from May 2 to 4 at the AGBCN Mission Centre, Singrijan.

SINGRIJAN, MAY 4 (MExN): A three-day Sports and Scripture Engagement (SSE) training seminar was held from May 2 to 4 at the AGBCN Mission Centre, Singrijan. The seminar aimed to equip youth leaders and church representatives with skills to integrate sports with scripture engagement and promote sports ministry within their respective congregations.
Dr Viposa, Director of Gethemgo Sports International served as the resource person, assisted by Kupu Chopy. A total of 80 delegates from 25 churches and fellowships under the AGBCN participated in the training.
The seminar included various competitions such as Bible Quiz and Bible Spelling Bee, in addition to prayer sessions, Zumba activities, and Futsal matches.
On the concluding day, Dr Viposa delivered a sermon during the devotional service, urging the youth to keep God at the center of their lives and to integrate their faith into all areas, including sports and daily routines.
Youth Secretary Shishir Lama extended his gratitude to the resource team and thanked all participating churches for their commitment. In his closing remarks, he encouraged the youth to prepare for the upcoming Inter-Church Tournament next year and invited interested football players to register for selection trials to form the official AGBCN Football Team.
