Agitation against Mao community lifted

Kohima | April 14 : The restriction on social mobility for the Mao people, launched by the Southern Angami Youth Organisation (SAYO) since April 11, was lifted today at 2 p.m. following an appeal by the Angami Public Organisation (APO). According to sources office bearers of APO have met the SAYO and Southern Angami Public Organisation (SAPO) and assured to take up the matter with the Mao Council and try to resolve the issue arising out of the dispute over Kezol forest.
