Kohima, November 3 (MExN): The Department of Agriculture organized a farewell programme in honour of its retiring officers N Henry Zeliang, Additional Director and L Butang Khiamniungan, Additional Director at Directorate Conference Hall on October 31.
G Ikuto Zhimomi, Director of Agriculture chaired the programme and congratulated the two retiring officers for completing 35 years of active service. He further lauded them for their valuable contribution at various levels during their entire service career in the Department.
M Ben Yanthan, Joint Director read out the service profile of the retiring officers and C Peter Yanthan Jt. Director gave farewell speech on behalf of the Department. Voluntary speeches were delivered by S Kivikhu Achumi Jt. DA, Jacob Yanthan Jt. DA, I Amenla Principal IETC Medziphema, Er. Achakbou, SE and other staffs. Special number was presented by officers and staffs of the Directorate.
The Chairman of the programme pronounced the vote of thanks and concluded with mass spoken prayer and benediction by Er. Achakbou Newmai Superintendent Engg. (Agri), stated a press release from the Director of Agriculture, Kohima.
