44th FIDE Chess Olympiad AICF- Nagaland Schools Chess Selection Tournament concluded at NCA office, Kohima on July 2.

Kohima, July 2 (MExN): The 44th FIDE Chess Olympiad AICF- Nagaland Schools Chess Selection Tournament under the aegis of All India Chess Federation (AICF) organized by Nagaland Chess Association (NCA) and supported by Government of Tamil Nadu & All India Chess Federation concluded at NCA office, Kohima on July 2.

Ranking wise, the result was as follows: Pulonito Hesso, Coragio School Kohima; Gihuca Chishi P, Carmel HSS Dimapur; Jesse Chishi P, Carmel HSS higher secondary school Kohima; Pezavilie Kuotsu, River Sainik School Pungwa, Peren; Valero Swuro, Christ King HSS Kohima; Luku Khesoh, Chandmari HSS Kohima; Ruguyi Phesao, St. Xavier School Chozuba, Phek; Pratyush Jha, Holotoli School Dimapur; and Asachu Assumi, Holotoli School Dimapur. 

Mughaho Awomi, Honorary Secretary, NCA and Joint Secretary, AICF in a press release stated that the top three players will witness the 44th Chess Olympiad. They will interact with Grandmaster and other elite participants through simuls, Lectures etc. which is scheduled from July 28 to August 10, Chennai at Mahabalipuram. AICF will be providing lodging and boarding from July 28 to 31 and also entitled for reimbursement of travelling expenses.
